Payroll Service Company Legislation -- New Statutes (UPDATED 11/01/10)

The Arizona Department of Revenue is hosting an informational meeting on Tuesday November 9, 2010 from 9:00am to 11:00am (Arizona time) regarding the new Payroll Service Provider statutes that were included in HB 2012 during the 2010 session of the Arizona State Legislature. 

The agenda for the meeting will include the following discussion points:

  • Overview of the new statutes and impacts on Payroll Service Companies, explanation of the legal aspects of the new statutes including new penalties and penalty abatement procedures
  • Registration, filing, and payment requirements
  • Technical information regarding submissions of returns and payments including the new submission gateway and web upload features

When: Tuesday November 9, 2010
Time: 9:00am - 11:00am (Arizona time)
Where: 1600 W. Monroe Phoenix AZ 85007 (limited free parking is available)
Extra Parking: Overflow parking (also free of charge) is available. The overflow parking lot is located on Monroe, just east of the church, which is located on the southeast corner of 16th Ave. and Monroe.

January 2016 AZTaxes Changes

If you are new to this site, you will find a highly interactive application to create your account and register your business to apply and pay for a transaction privilege tax license or register for withholding.

Existing Users: Several changes may have occurred since you last logged in:

  • Due to increased security, you will be required to answer four security questions (one time measure) and set up an electronic signature in the form of a six (6) to 10 digit PIN. You will need this PIN when you file and pay your TPT-1.
  • Dashboard functionality has increased which means you are able to view your filing history, liability information and due date information.
  • If you have more than one business, you can now link the accounts within your dashboard.
