Tax Year 2008

Each year the Arizona Department of Revenue provides opportunities for taxpayers to file their Arizona Individual Income Tax returns electronically at no cost.

The Arizona Free File Alliance is an agreement between the Arizona Department of Revenue and several software companies to provide free online services for qualified Arizona taxpayer. Any software company may participate in the alliance. Each company determines its own free filing offer. The Free File offers for Tax Year 2008 are:

Intuit Inc. and the Intuit Financial Freedom Foundation are proud to sponsor the Intuit Tax Freedom ProjectSM, donating free TurboTax® returns to qualifying taxpayers who qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) for tax year 2008, or earned $30,000 or less in adjusted gross income (AGI), or were Active Duty Military (including Reservists and National Guard) with a military W2 and your AGI is $56,000 or less. More

TaxHawk offers free tax preparation and e-filing services for both federal and Arizona tax returns if your AGI is $20,000 or less. More

TaxSlayer provides FREE online Federal return and FREE online State return with household income less than $56,000 and you are either 25 years old or younger, 68 years old and over, active military, those with Federal AGI less than $10,000 OR if you qualify for EITC. More

OLT provides FREE online Federal return and FREE online State return if you are 20 years old or younger. More
