Subject: Structural Pest Control, as defined by Arizona Revised Statute 32-2301(21), - Controlling public health pests, aquatic pests, household pests, wood-destroying insects, fungi or other pests, including weeds, that exist near or around structures, in ornamental shrubs and trees, on golf courses, along rights-of way or in lawns or cemeteries and all pesticide application that could be harmful to public health or environment. Structural pest control does not include pesticide applications used directly in the commercial production of crops and animals if such applications are governed by the Arizona department of agriculture pursuant to title 3, chapter 2, articles 6 and 6.1.

Subject: Applicator License

Comment: $30 application fee, examination required. Annual Applicator License renewal application, $20 renewal fee, and annual continuing education required.

Subject: Qualifying Party License

Comment: $150 application fee, minimum 3000 hours of verifiable experience in category applied for within preceding 5 years, background investigation, and Commission approval. Examination required after Commission approval. Qualifying Party License Renewal application, $125 active license renewal fee, $25 inactive license renewal fee, and annual continuing education required.

Subject: Business License

Comment: $75 application fee, must apply to activate a valid inactive Qualifying Party license ($125 fee), proof of financial responsibility (liability insurance), Registered Trade Name or business name on file with Corporation Commission. Business License Renewal application, $75 renewal fee.

Subject: Individuals who engage in pest control relating to commercial agriculture, or in a greenhouse, or nursery

Comment: Licensed by the Arizona Department of Agriculture.

Subject: Landscape Maintenance companies that do not use any pesticides

Comment: Licensed by the Registrar of Contractors.
