Subject: Person or persons, associations, or corporations desiring to conduct
live and simulcast horse or greyhound racing meeting within the State of Arizona.
Comment: All persons, associations, or corporations conducting a racing meeting
shall be required to obtain approval from the Arizona Racing Commission and
the required license from the department subject to a thorough background investigation.

Subject: Person or persons, associations, or corporations desiring to hold a
license to participate in a horse or greyhound racing meeting within the State
of Arizona.

or conduct a horse or greyhound racing meeting within the State of Arizona.
Comment: All persons participating in any capacity in a racing meeting, including
all persons who perform services in connection with the conduct of the racing
meeting, shall be required to obtain a license from the department. Those persons
performing services during a county fair horse race meet who are identified
as volunteer help are exempted from this requirement. A participant includes
all persons acting as participants or officials at any racing meeting, including
all employees of the permittee pari-mutuel department, all management, or vendor
contracts with the permittee, and all the officers and directors of such corporations
and permittee. No license shall be issued or renewed for any person who, within
five years prior to application, has been convicted of a felony. All licensing
requires fees and background investigation.

Subject: Teletrack wagering facilities (off-track betting facilities).
Comment: Licensing applies to providers of telecasts of live audio and visual
signals of horse or greyhound racing at authorized facilities within the state
at authorized additional pari-mutual wagering facility.
Subject: Greyhound racing kennels, breeding farms or other operations.
Comment: Subject to licensing and inspection by the department. Contact agency
