new installations, change of ownership, or tank closure. Thirty day notification
prior to tank closure. Leaks, spills, overfills or suspected releases from underground storage tank
systems must be reported within 24 hours.
Tank owner or operator must comply with all state and federal UST requirements,
including financial responsibility.

Subject: Operator Certification for Water Treatment, Water Distribution,
Wastewater Treatment and Wastewater Collection Systems
Comment: Establishes guidelines to ensure that only certified
operators make decisions about process control or system integrity that affects
public health. The program establishes minimum standards for certification
and recertification of the operators of community and non-transient non-community
public water systems. The department charges no application fee for exams
and renewals; however, a fee may apply when the exam is provided by a department-approved
vendor.
